Bring a touch of night-sky magic to your dog's wardrobe with the hand-knitted Nova Zeal Night Sky Snood.

Inspired by star-filled winter evenings and the rich colours of the night sky, each snood is hand-knitted in the Scottish Highlands by my mum, who has a background in fabric and textile design. 

Designed especially for long-eared breeds such as Dachshunds and Spaniels, our snoods help keep ears out of the way during mealtimes and wet walks, while adding an extra layer of warmth in colder weather.

The Night Sky design brings together navy, royal blue, teal and purple yarn in a bold, dreamy colour palette.

Sizes & Fit

Each snood is hand-knitted with a gentle stretch to fit over your dog's head and sit comfortably around the neck.

Neck Circumference (stretch fit)

Extra Small (XS): approx. 25-30 cm (10-12")

  • Suitable for toy and miniature breeds.

Small (S): approx. 30-35 cm (12-14")

  • Suitable for miniature and smaller breeds.

Medium (M): approx. 35-40 cm (14-16") 

  • Suitable for breeds such as Cocker Spaniels and Border Collies.

Large (L): approx. 40-45 cm (16-18") 

  • Suitable for larger breeds such as Dobermans.

Standard & Longer Lengths

Alongside our standard snoods, we're trialing longer versions in Extra Small and Small. These offer additional length while keeping the same neck circumference as their standard counterparts.

Extra Small (XS): approx. 13 cm (5") 

Extra Small Long (XS Long): approx. 18 cm (7") 

Small (S): approx. 14.5 cm (5.5") 

Small Long (S Long): approx. 20.5 cm (8") 

Lengths are approximate due to the hand-knitted nature of each snood.

Care & Safety

For dogs only. Always supervise your dog while wearing a snood and remove it when unattended. Check regularly and discontinue use if damaged. Not suitable for children.

Care Instructions

  • Hand wash or machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
  • Air dry only. Do not tumble dry.
